The Fairy Glen Walking Trail
And Angel Sanctuary

This walking trail is in a native Hawaiian forest and you never know what you might see. There are many rare and unusual plants and trees and we'll be happy to give you a guided tour. All the native plant life was used by the ancient Hawaiians for their houses, kapa cloth dyes and medicinal purposes.

Here at Hale O Ao (House in the Clouds) you'll find an angel sanctuary where you'll feel like you are in the clouds. And yet, nearby you can gain access to one of Hawaii's few black sand beaches; Punalu`u, where endangered sea turtles come to rest on the beach almost every day.
