Black Sand Beach Punalu`u Black Sand Beach is one of the only remaining black sand beachs on the Big Island. The palm tree lined beach with it's black volcanic sand is a wonder to behold and allows you to experience a unique part of Hawaii. This beach has public restrooms and showers.
