This secluded romantic hideaway cabin includes all basic necessities for your needs; a full kitchen, bed, bath and an old fashioned wood burning stove with ample wood, add to the cozy atmosphere. This one room cabin has a solid cedar interior with tile floors throughout. A CD/Cassette player with Hawaiian music CD's is provided for your relaxation and enjoyment. High speed internet access available nearby with your notebook. There is even complimentary Kona Coffee for you to try from one of the premium coffee farms in Kona; Kona Joe.

Hiking and walking trails are woven throughout the Ohia forest on the estate surrounding the cabin, so you can view the reclusive Apapane birds and see rare and unusual endemic Hawaiian plant species.

Relax on the front lanai to enjoy the forest, coastline, or star gazing. This is a great base to explore the southern tip of the island and see a special part of Hawaii that few tourists, or even locals ever see. Nearby attractions include: Volcano National Park Kahuku Unit which is only a few blocks away from Hale O Ao, where you can hike in the newly acquired 116,000 acre section of the National Park. South Point; the southern most tip of the U.S., Green Sands Beach, Punaluu Black Sands Beach, Punaluu Golf course, Manuka State Park and many other remote and secluded beaches.
