Gnomes, Dwarves and Pixies

Here is Grandfather Gnome. His name is Forest Gnomeump and he is all set to travel, which is his favorite thing to do. He is prepared with his box of chocolates, suitcase and most important his travel guide titled "Traveling Around the World". He sits and waits patiently, reading and pondering life on his handmade chair of forest twigs.

Forest Gnomeump is 15" tall including his chair.

Gnomes....live high up in the mountains, as they love cool dark places deep within the earth. They live in caves or hollowed out tree trunks, which they disguise to remain a secret. The gnomes are friends with eagles and ravens and it is only they that know the Gnomes hidden dwelling places. Gnomes love precious stones and metals and are the guardians of the earth's underground treasures. They spend most of their days mining in deep underground caves, which they turn into vast and spectacular kingdoms. They constantly search for rare and beautiful specimens for their collections as they work and shout excitedly when they find something. When they are not hard at work they love to sit around a fire, smoke their pipes and tell stories from long ago. They are good story tellers and try to outdo each other, until the stories become so outlandish even they themselves wouldn't believe them.

Taking a moments rest from their hard work underground, these Dwarves enjoy a moment out in the sunlight.

Dwarves...somewhat like their cousins the Gnomes, live in the mountains. They are dedicated miners and spend their whole lives digging deep within the earth for valuable metals like gold and silver. They are excellent  craftsmen and make fine jewelry, swords and knives  from the metals they find. Fortunate are the people who own Dwarven jewelry, as it's prized for it's beauty the world over.

Sweet little Pixies like these might be scampering around your house right now. If you recently lost something, it might be they who have hidden it.

Pixies...are a wee little folk who love to play all day in any enchanted kingdom they find along the way. Green is their favorite color and they wear it to camouflage themselves when they are out and about. They are sweet natured, fair to look upon and generally very neat and clean. Sometimes they stumble into the houses of big people and scamper about unseen, tidying up the house in their helpful way. Shiny objects are precious to them so they sometimes steal jewelry to keep for themselves, but they are generally fun loving and kind to any creature they meet. Horses are a favorite of theirs and 20 or more of them will ride one horse at a time. At night they play music and hold dances, which sometimes cause humans to stray into their midst. If ever a human gets caught at one of their parties no one will ever see them again, as the pixies will hold them in their enchanted world forever.
