Indian Spirits...Emerging
from a time long ago, she was seen on distant hillsides, in far off
fields, or perhaps a meadow. Some believe that when gazing with watchful
eyes, she could be seen rising from the mists of a storm. Many say they
caught a glimpse of her through a forest dense with trees, disappearing
into their shadows. She wore a dress and moccasins made of white fringed
buckskin, with brightly colored beads lying gracefully around her neck.Wings
she had upon her back, seeming to help her glide swiftly on her secret
missions. Some believed her to be an Angel, but she was an Indian Spirit
Woman. There were many Indian Spirits, but she was distinctly unique
in her ways. She was known to have a sweet, soothing voice and
played a flute that echoed throughout her realm. Anyone who sought her
in need found the courage to go on when they heard her gentle songs.
She urged them to fulfill their dreams with out fear, to fly above their
problems and reach the highest boundaries within their souls. The Indian
Spirit Woman guides the Eagle Spirit and dwells with the Angels from
heaven. Was she real? No one ever knew. Did she have a mate? Some say
they saw an Indian Brave with her. Many believe she spent her wandering
days alone on her quest.
