Along this hiking trail on the estate you'll see young
and old Koa Trees; an endangered tree native only to Hawaii. Koa trees
were used by the ancient Hawaiians for their dugout canoes and surfboards.
Today, it's prized for it's beautiful red grained hardwood and is used
for fine crafted furniture. Our hiking trails are like natural botanical
gardens filled with the endemic and indigenous plant life of Hawaii
Island found nowhere else in the world.
The private cabin is situated in a forested area where
giant Koa trees grow up to 100 feet.
